An Envelope making machine costing Rs.35000/- was presented on 16-3-03 to the Probus club at Moolampally during the District Governor's visit.
An Interact Club was organised at Assissi Vidhyaniketan Public School on 14-12-2002. Charter received on 24-1-2003. Inaugurated as provl club on 24-1-2003. Club has 98 members to start with. Charter presentation ceremony was held on 16-3-2003, during the visit of District Governor.
Centennial Project, 'Snehagramam' (Village of Love) launched on the installation day of President B.T. Philip and his dream team. Project targetted to be completed by February 2005 is planned for setting up a Clinic, providing Sanitation facilities and setting up multiple Rainwater Harvesting units at an under-devleoped village Moolampally near Cochin.
This endeavor is with the aim of spreading the message of Rotary - the largest service organization in the world. Proceeds from this will be utilized for bringing a smile to children who are physically, mentally and economically challenged by supporting specific community projects in areas of health, education and childcare.
